About the Jacksonville Sail and Power Squadron

For more than 70 years, the Jacksonville Sail and Power Squadron has helped make boating safer and more enjoyable throughout Northeast Florida. We are a local unit of America’s Boating Club®, a nonprofit organization dedicated to boating education, community service and fellowship.

Our members include sailors, powerboaters and boating enthusiasts of all experience levels. We offer public boating-safety classes, advanced education, vessel safety checks and opportunities to develop practical skills on the water.

Beyond education, our squadron brings local boaters together through cruises, meetings, community events and social activities. Whether you are new to boating or have spent years on the water, we invite you to learn, participate and enjoy the company of fellow boaters.
